ELMO Vice president in 1st International Congress “Nutrition - Medicine of the future” in Romania

ELMO Vice President Dr Ioannis Arkadianos was invited as a Keynote Speaker at the“1st International Congress “Nutrition - Medicine of the future” in Romania. He delivered his speech on «Lifestyle Medicine, an introduction to the new field of medicine that contributes to better health» on May 17th 2019. Spotlight on Keynote Speakers - Experts in Lifestyle Medicine

The European Lifestyle Medicine Organization (ELMO) is proud to announce Professor Mechanick and Professor Tricholoulou, experts in lifestyle medicine, who will join as keynote speakers the 2nd European Lifestyle Medicine Congress to be held on 8-10 November 2019 in Rome at the Roma Eventi Fontana di Trevi.

Dr. Mechanick is Professor of Medicine and Medical Director of The Marie-Josée and Henry R. Kravis Center for Clinical Cardiovascular Health at Mount Sinai Heart, and Director of Metabolic Support in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Bone Disease, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. He authored over 300 publications in Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Nutrition Support with 234 PubMed citations currently. Dr. Mechanick’s research interests are in the fields of nutrition and metabolic support, obesity, lifestyle medicine, and network analysis of complex systems. Antonia Trichopoulou, Professor Emeritus at theUniversity of Athens, School of Medicine, who has served as a President of the Federation of the European Nutrition Societies (FENS), today is the President of the Hellenic Health Foundation.
